North Quarter Lane Chambers warmly congratulates our former Member, His Excellency the Honourable Justice Thomas Bradley, on his swearing-in as the 28th Governor of Queensland.
Justice Bradley brings to the role a distinguished career in law and public service, having served as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland from 2018 and on the Court of Appeal from 2025. His contribution to Queensland extends well beyond the courtroom, through his involvement in the arts, community, and charitable organisations. We are very proud of his achievement and wish him every success as he takes on this important role representing Queenslanders.
We also wish His Excellency and his partner, Dr Matthew Yoong, every happiness as they embark on their travels throughout Queensland. In his first address as Governor, Justice Bradley spoke of his intention to spend as much time outside Brisbane as in it, engaging with communities across the State and drawing on the knowledge, skills and goodwill found in Queensland communities. We look forward to following their travels and the contribution they will make to Queensland in the years ahead. Congratulations, Your Excellency, and very best wishes for this new chapter.

His Excellency the Honourable Justice Thomas Bradley takes the oath of office before The Honourable Justice Helen Bowskill CJ.
