Biography
Max was called to the Bar in 2026 and accepts briefs in all areas of commercial and public law.
Prior to joining the Bar, Max was a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth practising primarily in commercial litigation and international arbitration.
Prior to his admission as a solicitor in 2021, Max served as Associate to the Hon. Justice Flanagan of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Max holds a BCL from the University of Oxford, where he read Commercial Remedies, Restitution of Unjust Enrichment, International Dispute Settlement, and International Law of Armed Conflict.
In his undergraduate studies, Max was awarded the University Medal by QUT where he graduated with an LLB (Hons Class I) and a BBus (Economics) (with Distinction).
Beyond the areas identified above, Max is particularly interested in administrative and constitutional law, and defamation.
