Tristan accepts briefs in all areas of civil and commercial law.

He has a commercial practice, with particular experience in the areas of energy and resources, building and construction, equity and trusts, financial services, class actions and insurance.

Before coming to the Bar, Tristan was a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills with over a decade’s experience acting in large commercial disputes in Brisbane, Sydney and London.

Tristan holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours and University Medal) and a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University. He also holds a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
