Prior to being called to the Bar, Georgia spent over 8 years working exclusively in commercial litigation across Queensland and New South Wales.
She has acted in substantial litigation, including lengthy contested hearings in both the Supreme Court of Queensland, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of New South Wales, with a particular focus on general commercial, property, equity, and succession. Georgia has represented liquidators and trustees in matters concerning rights over superannuation, exoneration, and joint property holdings as well as acted in large resources, building and construction litigation. She also has specialised experience in financial regulatory matters, post the Hayne Royal Commission.
At the bar, Georgia has been briefed in a wide range of commercial disputes, including large-scale and complex litigation concerning PFAS contamination, equitable property interests, succession and trusts, professional negligence, as well as other significant areas of commercial law in the State and Federal Courts and Tribunals on behalf of State and Federal Government agencies and individuals (both led and unled).
With a personal interest in high-performance sport, Georgia has acted in a range of equine-related disputes. Her broader experience also includes professional negligence, media, agriculture and corporations.
