2026 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Student Mooting Competition Results

The Final of the 2026 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Student Mooting Competition was hosted by the Queensland Supreme Court on Wednesday, 2 September 2026.

North Quarter Lane Chambers has been a major stakeholder in the Moot competition from its inception in 2014, together with international law firms Allens-Linklaters and Ashurst and the Indigenous Lawyers Association of Queensland (ILAQ). The competition is organised in collaboration with the Queensland Judiciary and the participating universities. 

The 2026 Final was held in the Banco Court and showcased teams from the University of Queensland and Bond University. The judging panel included the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill of the Supreme Court of Queensland, the Honourable President Debra Mullins AO of the Queensland Court of Appeal, and the Honourable Justice Lincoln Crowley of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
