2023 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Student Mooting Competition Results

The Final of the 2023 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Student Mooting Competition was hosted by the Queensland Supreme Court on Monday 31 July 2023.

North Quarter Lane Chambers has been a major stakeholder in the Moot competition from its inception in 2014, together with international law firms Allens-Linklaters and Ashurst and the Indigenous Lawyers Association of Queensland (ILAQ). The competition is organised in collaboration with the Queensland Judiciary and the participating universities. 

The 2023 Final showcased teams from Griffith University and Bond University. The judging panel included the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill of the Supreme Court of Queensland, the Honourable Justice Debra Mullins AO of the Queensland Court of Appeal, and the Honourable Justice Lincoln Crowley of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
