Chris George has acted in a wide range of matters, predominantly in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance, and banking and finance, but also in tort, succession and defamation matters.

His experience includes appearing in a Supreme Court trial of 60 days relating to the collapse of a large corporate group, and a Supreme Court trial of 25 days relating to a major aviation product liability claim.

Chris has strong ties to Queensland University of Technology, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours. He has taught on a casual basis in the areas of Evidence and Civil Procedure.

Chris is the Joint Title Editor of The Laws of Australia, Civil Procedure, published by Thomson Reuters. 

Chris is a sessional member of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and also a nationally accredited and experienced mediator.
